Keeping feet and hands healthy and free from pain, so you can get out and enjoy your life!

Drea Kurjata entered the footcare and esthetics field more than 15 years ago, out of a desire to treat conditions that are often overlooked.

Back in 2003, Drea began training as an esthetician and never looked back! After years focusing on esthetics, which also included a relocation back to Chetwynd, Drea decided to pursue footcare. Her pedicure clients had issues because of arthritis and/or diabetes, and at the same time her oldest son was having issues with a chronic in-grown toenail. These issues sparked a desire to look into specialty care for feet.

In the fall of 2010, Drea became a CMP (Certified Master Pedicurist) and completed further training the following spring in Infection Control. In April 2018, Drea received her certification as a Certified Podologist (C.Pod).

Through all of this experience, one thing is for sure. Drea’s passion comes from helping people and relieving chronic pain. She is thrilled to have brought this specialty to Chetwynd and her long-time clients in Prince George and Dawson Creek.

Cleaning Process

The cleaning process with footcare is a very important step. Preventing the spread of bacteria is important here at Drea’s Footcare & Esthetics. Here is our process:

  1. All implements are thoroughly cleaned in hot running water with anti-bacterial soap and a scrub brush. Implements are then rinsed in hot water and dried.

  2. Following this drying period, implements are immersed in 20 min chemical sterilant for a period of at least 20 minutes. After this time has passed, implements are removed and rinsed in hot water, dried, and sprayed with isopropyl alcohol before being put away.

  3. All surfaces (including the desk, ped chair, sugar/massaging bed, etc.) are wiped with disinfectant wipes.

  4. All paper items (including files, arbour bands, etc.) are disposed of after each client.

Your healthy and safety are our number one concern.
